End the Year with Boba Fett-And Lots to Look Forward to in A Galaxy Far, Far, Away!
The Book of Boba Fett is now streaming episode 1 on Disney+. This is the latest Star-Wars original series made for the Disney streaming platform.
This spin-off follows infamous bounty hunter, Boba Fett, as he returns to Tatooine to take it over. Temura Morrision reprises his role of Boba Fett as he portrayed him in The Mandalorian. Ming-Na Weh also returns as Fennec Shand.
Seven episodes are planned for the series. It plans to wrap up on February 9, 2022. Each episode is anticipated to be 30-40 minutes long.
This is just the tip of the iceberg with Star-Wars series that we have to look forward to.
Obi-Wan Kenobi is already in post-production. Ewan McGregor returns for his role. The series takes place eight years after Revenge of the Sith, showing his time in exile in Tatooine, before A New Hope.
Andor has 12 episodes are planned for this series described by Disney as a “rousing spy thriller.” Diego Luna & Alan Tudyk will be returning to play Cassian Andor & KS-250.
Ahsoka will tell the story of beloved character, Ahsoka Katano, with Rosario Dawson coming back, alongside Hayden Christensen, as Anakin Skywalker.
The Acolyte has been announced as a female-centered, “martial arts action thriller,” with little else known about the plot and setting. The timeline is going to be somewhere in the late High-Republic era.
Lando will bring us new adventures with Lando Calrissian but we are not sure who will play him or what his focus will be.
