The 2022 D23 Convention just wrapped up. This convention happens every other year and is the ultimate Disney fan event. It is a time to celebrate and learn about new projects by the Disney family. Here are some of the biggest take aways from this year’s celebration.

Hocus Pocus 2 - The black flame candle has been relit! We were given a full trailer and release date as the film will be coming to Disney+ on September 30th, 2022
Disenchanted - Amy Adams & Maya Rudolph are bringing us the next continuation of this modern fairy tale, set to debut on Disney+ on November 24, 2022
Haunted Mansion - The beloved Disney attraction is getting another film, as previously announced. It was confirmed at D23 that the scream queen herself, Jamie Lee Curtis, will be cast as Madame Leota
Wish - This new animated movie is set to debut in theaters in fall of 2023. This epic new story is musical and focuses on the unique power of wishes. It will combine stunning watercolor animation and 3d animation

Indiana Jones 5 - Harrison Ford came out on stage to discuss how excited he is to strap on the whip again for this new adventure. The movie is set to open in theaters in June 2023

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania - Guests at the convention were treated to an exclusive first look and some of the plot which shows Scott & Hope teaming up with her parents and Cassie to explore the quantum realm
Fantastic Four - Marvel’s first family’s newest encounter did not get a cast release, but we did learn that the director will be Matt Shakman, who recently directed WandaVision
Thunderbolts - The uncanny team consisting of Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine), David Harbour (Red Guardian), Hannah John-Kamen (Ghost), Wyatt Russell (John Walker/U.S. Agent), and Sebastian Stan (James “Bucky” Barnes/The Winter Soldier), Olga Kurylenko (Taskmaster), and Florence Pugh (Yelena Belova) will be starring in a movie that is set to release to theaters in July 2024
